Does it mean that this film heralds the beginning of the Justice League?

It's official. The Man of Steel sequel has been given a proper title: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This comes a little over a week after director Zack Snyder revealed Ben Affleck's suit and Batmobile on Twitter.

Warner Bros has also confirmed that principal photography has begun, with Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne will reprise their roles from Man of Steel as well.

With such a narrative-apparent title, it is not strange that the choice phrase has attracted speculation about the film being the direct lead up to Justice League (so, maybe no more films between Dawn of Justice and Justice League?), which then lead to some wondering if there will be a good cameo at the end of the film.

Dawn of Justice, to be released on 6 May 2016, even has an official website now. There's nothing on it yet, so just enjoy that cool new logo in the meantime.
