This is the first video released since her announced hiatus in January

Video: Lykke Li

Lykke Li has just released a new music video to her song Never Gonna Love Again. In the clip, her soulful singing about heartache is interrupted when the car she's travelling in gets hit from behind and she is flung forward. Luckily she recovers quickly and even goes on singing in what looks like a bar (badass!).

It's been a while since we've seen Lykke on the music scene, but she's making a big comeback with a performance at Coachella this weekend. The Swedish singer, who played muse for Gucci's SS15 campaign, also spoke about the song and video in an interview with Rolling Stone.

"Loneliness and heartbreak follow you everywhere and they are the loudest right after the lights go out and the crowds quiet," she said. "Here's an intimate glimpse of how it can be to live your dream whilst stuck in your dream. In the lonely wolf hour, the night becomes your stage, the stars your audience, the rain your memories."
