It seems like aeons ago since we saw Miley Cyrus appear on stage with a giant foam finger alongside Robin Thicke and give us a performance that went down in history. Fast forward to today, the former Disney star is re-engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth and has been on a journey of self-discovery.

Miley's new track, Malibu is about her reconciliation with her fiancé after they split in 2013.

"They're going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam. So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, 'This is how I feel?'" Miley told Billboard.

"This record is a reflection of the fact that yes, I don't give a f-ck, but right now is not a time to not give a f-ck about people," Miley added. "I'm giving the world a hug and saying, 'Hey, look. We're good – I love you'. And I hope you can say you love me back." The feels, you guys.

To further prove that their relationship is as steadfast as ever, and to make you ugly-cry all day, Liam shot Miley's beautiful cover art for her single.
