Let this Beyoncé-Hamilton mash-up make your day

'Hamilton' playwright and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda is very impressed

The mash-up of the year is here and it's a compilation of some of Beyoncé's and Broadway musical Hamilton's best hits hence the name #HAM4BEY. The 7-minute clip sees singers Jej MillanesJamond McCoyVincint, India CarneyMariah Maxwell, and Kelly Margareth Lee belting the lyrics to Alexander Hamilton, Yoncé, 6 Inch, My Shot, The Story of Tonight, Survivor, Countdown and many more. You can thank Michael Korte and Jared Jenkins for the awesome medley.

"The inspiration was bred from fantasy – I wanted to do the impossible, selfishly combine two of my favourite things, Queen Bey and King Ham," Michael told Mashable. "The video is so important NOW as it is 7 minutes of soul-hugging joy and an unapologetic celebration of diversity in a time where many are questioning what the future holds."

Even Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the music, lyrics and book for Hamilton, has given the mash-up his stamp of approval.
