Leonardo DiCaprio in talks to play Steve Jobs
Potential director Danny Boyle has reportedly been talking to Leonardo DiCaprio about playing Steve Jobs
Will this be the Steve Jobs film the world needs? After David Fincher unceremoniously ditched the project, Sony Pictures is now in talks with Danny Boyle to direct the biopic, who is reportedly in talks with Leonardo DiCaprio to star as the late Apple leader.
The biopic is based on the official Walter Isaacson biography of Steve Jobs, adapted by Aaron Sorkin and produced by Scott Rudin. The last time Leonardo and Danny worked together was way back in 2000, on The Beach, and Leo’s gained plenty of experience playing genius egomaniacal characters since. And the DiCaprio version of the turtleneck-wearing tech titan is one we'd definitely pay to see.
