J.K. Rowling to release 12 new Harry Potter short stories
How would you like twelve days of Christmas presents from the Harry Potter author?
What happened to Draco Malfoy after the Harry Potter series ended? Keep your eyes open, Potterheads. J.K. Rowling will soon tell you all about Harry's former rival in a short story being published as part of a daily 12-part series leading up to Christmas.
A newsletter sent out to Pottermore members announced that the author will release a new short story a day on the interactive website, starting Friday, 12 December at 1pm GMT (that's 9pm in Malaysia).
For Halloween, J.K. published a back story on one of the antagonists, Dolores Umbridge. If that and the other background stories already on the website are anything to go by, this Christmas is really going to be a magical one.
By the way, J.K. has finished screenwriting the film adaptation of her spin-off book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Producer David Heyman told The Telegraph that the script is "wonderful," giving us even more reason to be excited for the 2016 film.
