Has Arsenal Football Club signed Brooklyn Beckham?

We wonder if David Beckham's son takes after his father on the field

They might be richer than most of us can ever dream of but no one can accuse the Beckham children of not having a strong work ethic. While Romeo seems to be following mum Victoria into the fashion industry, eldest son Brooklyn might have more in common with his father, retired footballer David Beckham, given news that the 15-year-old has caught the eye of coaches at Arsenal Football Club.

Brooklyn has reportedly managed to impress Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger enough for the club to sign the teenager for the rest of the season, thus preventing rival clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea from snapping him up. If he performs well, the Gunners may offer him a "big-money deal" later on.

"Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played," a source told the Daily Star. "He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club. Arsenal realise he can be a huge talent. They have seen that potential and protected their asset."

Think 15 is too young? Beckham Senior was only two years older when he started his professional career with Manchester United. Romeo and Cruz also play for Arsenal's under-13 and under-10 youth teams respectively.

Although Arsenal representatives have yet to confirm this contract, we hope we see Brooklyn at the English Premier League one day.
