If anyone told us they're making a film about us, we'd say something like "Christmas came early!", but not Grumpy Cat. The Internet phenomenon, also known as Tardar Sauce will be pouting her way through a live-action TV film entitled Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever.

American cable network Lifetime will begin shooting the film this summer, and is currently casting the voice of Grumpy Cat. SpongeBob SquarePants writer and developer Tim Hill will co-write the script with Jeff Morris. The plot reportedly centres on the relationship between a 12-year-old girl who can communicate with a neglected pet store cat (no guesses who that is).

Grumpy Cat has been places, so we agree that it's time for the strangely endearing kitty to have her own film.
