[Updated 14 November 2016] Scarlett Johansson's upcoming sci-fi movie Ghost in the Shell has just gotten its first trailer and it is as action-packed as we expected it to be. Besides getting to see the super cool suit that gives ScarJo's Major Motoko the ability to become invisible, we also get to see more of her badass fighting skills and a brief glimpse into Major's past.

And the new poster for the film has been released too! If you weren't excited before, you will be now.

Paramount Pictures has released five teasers of the upcoming sci-fi movie Ghost in the Shell starring Scarlett Johansson! It's exciting to see the actress in character as Major Motoko Kusanagi but the 10-second-long clips barely reveal anything about her or the film.

The teasers also show us brief glimpses of Takeshi Kitano firing a gun and Scarlett caressing Adwoa Aboah's face. If you're familiar with the 1995 anime movie Ghost in the Shell by Mamoru Oshii, you'll notice that some of the scenes are almost complete recreations of the cult classic.

Ghost in the Shell will debut in cinemas overseas on 31 March 2017. There is no news yet as to whether we'll be getting the film in Malaysia, but we have these teasers to ponder over for the time being.
