Apocalypse's four Horsemen are so badass, we forgive them for being villains

We already know who the villain in X-Men: Apocalypse will be – Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac – and we know that Magneto (Michael Fassbender) is one of his Horsemen, but the new trailer finally gives us a closer look at the other three Horsemen.

Magneto, Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Angel (Ben Hardy) are all "imbued" with power by the god-like Apocalypse. What those powers are exactly will be clear once the movie is out, but we couldn't help but notice Angel's wings turning from white feathers to metal in the trailer. Cue the goosebumps. It's up to Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and the X-Men team to prevent Apocalypse from destroying the world.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens in local cinemas on 19 May 2016. Meanwhile, enjoy our favourite Horsemen moments, captured in all their glory from the trailer.
