Felicity Jones is a badass rebel in 'Rouge One: A Star Wars Story'
One of the scenes was apparently filmed at a London Underground station
Disney already made waves (more like tsunamis) with last year's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it looks like they're well on their way to repeating their feat with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
The spin-off centres on a reluctant heroine called Jyn Erso, played by Felicity Jones. Think devil-may-care rebel with an attitude, who you'll love anyway; that's Jyn. In the new teaser trailer, we get a glimpse of just how much ass-kicking she's going to do, which is a lot.
The Gareth Edwards-directed film won't revolve much around the Jedi or the Force, but will focus on events before Star Wars: A New Hope, as the rebellion tries to steal plans for a "major weapon" the Galactic Empire is working on.
Spoiler: it's the Death Star.
See if you can spot Forest Whitaker and Donnie Yen in the trailer. Also, the running scene at 1:12 was apparently filmed at the Canary Wharf tube station in London, as pointed out by observant fans. And finally, the AT-AT walkers are taking the wheel in the nostalgia and goosebumps department.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in local cinemas mid-December this year.
