New 'Fantastic Beasts' teaser mentions Albus Dumbledore

You'll lose your minds when you hear all the Harry Potter references in this new trailer

Everything you know about patience will fly out the window once you watch the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them teaser trailer. Two full minutes of Harry Potter director David Yates' vision of the magical world pre-Potter era is a great way to send us all into fits of excitement, and this is before any of us have even seen the film.

Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) was a student at Hogwarts, but many forget that Albus Dumbledore was his teacher at the wizarding school; this is mentioned by someone in a voiceover (that you, Colin Farrell?). We might not see Dumbledore in the film – no, that would be too cheesy and we can't have too much of a good thing – but the very mention of him gives us goosebumps.

More nostalgia: James Newton Howard is composing the music, but seems to have kept the iconic Hedwig's Theme from the original Harry Potter soundtrack by John Williams. Also remember that this is J.K. Rowling's screenwriting debut. November 17, do hurry.
