The 2016 Emmy Awards nominations are out and your ex-internet-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston has been nominated for his role in TV series The Night Manager. The one that made #Hiddlesbum possible, yes. Fingers crossed, #Hiddleswift makes a red carpet appearance, too, now that Tom has confirmed that he and Taylor Swift are indeed a real couple.

"The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking," the Emmy Award nominee told The Hollywood Reporter. "That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."

The British actor is up against Benedict Cumberbatch, Idris Elba, Bryan Cranston, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Courtney B. Vance for the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie. Other big nominees include Game of Thrones (leading the race with 23 nominations) and Veep (17 nominations), both of which are also vying for the Outstanding Drama Series.
