Good news Disney and Star Wars fans! Bob Iger, chairman of Walt Disney, revealed some spectacular information over the weekend at the Disney D23 Expo. Apparently, the Disney parks in Orlando and Anaheim, California are to have Star Wars-themed lands added to the parks.

"I am thrilled to announce the next chapter in the long and exciting history between Disney Parks and Star Wars," said Bob. "We are creating a jaw-dropping new world that represents our largest single themed land expansion ever."

"These new lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World will transport guests to a whole new Star Wars planet, including an epic Star Wars adventure that puts you in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance," he added.

Visitors will be able to handle the Millennium Falcon (one of the most popular ships in Star Wars) and go on customised secret missions. Although there is no news as to when the parks will be completed, we're hoping it will be soon.
