Here's your first look at Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence's on-screen chemistry in sci-fi odyssey Passengers. They play two of over 5,000 passengers in cryosleep onboard a starship that's on a 120-year voyage to a new planet.

And then something goes wrong: Jim and Aurora's hibernation pods open prematurely. A good 90 years too early. (Worst nightmare realised.) As the two explore the luxurious spacecraft, they fall in love but they soon realise that something is wrong with the ship. (Seriously, could this get any worse?)

"For me, it's a story about what's important to live a full life," said director Morten Tyldum, who also directed The Imitation Game. "What are the things we need as humans? It's not afraid to entertain but at the same time it asks big questions about what does it mean to really feel happy."

Yup, being stranded on a ship you can't fly will definitely have you pondering the meaning of life. Passengers, which also stars Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Andy Garcia, opens in local cinemas on 29 December 2016.
