Tina Fey continues her career in comedy. CBS has given her and producing partner Robert Carlock the green light to produce the pilot episode for their still-unnamed comedy series.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the duo's frequent collaborator Jack Burditt will write the script, which is about the life of a retired and frustrated athlete. Jack worked with Tina and Robert when they executive-produced 30 Rock and created Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Jack himself created sitcom Last Man Standing, starring Tim Allen.

If those aren't enough comedy credentials to convince you of the potential success of the new series, we don't know what will.
