Big Bang's Seungri coming to KL for YG Republique launch
Here's when and where you could meet the South Korean singer
K-pop band Big Bang's youngest member Seungri is coming to TREC Kuala Lumpur on 11 August 2017. It's not for a concert; the singer will be in town to celebrate the launch of the popular South Korean concept eatery YG Republique at TREC.
South Korean DJs Glory & TPA and Danu will also attend the event with Seungri.
YG Republique is owned by YG Entertainment, one of South Korea's biggest entertainment and talent agencies. YG Republique comprises two sections: Samgeori Butcher's and K-Pub, Malaysia's first dedicated K-pop-themed bar.
Samgeori Butcher's serves Korean BBQ, while K-Pub offers soju cocktails, makgeoli, craft beers, wines, cocktails, Korean whisky and bar snacks like fried chicken, spicy rice cakes, sausage platters, and garlic sauce chicken. Expect K-pop fans to swarm the place at their first chance – YG Republique has opened reservations for Samgeori Butcher's, but tables are capped at 10 a day.
The launch event Seungri will attend starts at 8pm on 11 August and is invite-only, but there's no stopping fans from sticking around at TREC to catch a glimpse of the star, right?
