Beyoncé leads with 9 Grammy nominations

Beyoncé competes with Adele and Drake for best Album of the Year

It isn't a surprise that Queen Beyoncé has topped the list of 2017 Grammy nominees with nine nominations under her belt. She goes up against Adele whose album 25 was nominated for Album of the Year with Bey's Lemonade, Justin Bieber's Purpose, Drake's Views and Sturgill Simpson's A Sailor's Guide to Earth.

Following closely behind Bey is Drake and Rihanna, each with eight nominations. Chance the Rapper also has a spot at the top with seven nominations in five categories, including best new artist. Let's not forget Kanye West who received eight nominations in five categories.
