Whatever you felt when Benedict Cumberbatch was announced to play Doctor Strange will multiply several times more when you see the actor dressed up in full uniform. Entertainment Weekly released the first look for the upcoming Marvel film about the Sorcerer Supreme, and Benedict looks so much like the comic book character, he may as well have been born to play the role.

"There's all sorts of craziness [in Doctor Strange]," Benedict told EW. "Falling, flying, jumping, fighting, punching, getting punched. It's really rough and tumble."

He also added that, because there is magic involved, "there's going to be crazy shit going on."

Rough and tumble and and crazy shit is mandatory for a Marvel blockbuster anyway, but we're tumbling over ourselves just taking in the red cape, blue robe, his slicked-up hair and goatee. Is it just us or is it hot in here?

Doctor Strange opens in cinemas on 3 November 2016. Click here for more photos.
