The official teaser trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is finally here, and it's every bit as awesome as we'd hoped.

A quick recap: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zach Snyder and is the sequel to Man of Steel. It stars Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman. Fans of the DC Comics franchise will also get Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. And let's not forget that Jena Malone may be the first female Robin to appear in the film.

But what we're seeing in this trailer isn't camaraderie between the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel, but hostility and possibly a battle for dominance. Warner Bros has yet to release an official plot synopsis for Dawn of Justice so we can only speculate.

Will Lex Luthor be the villain who unifies the two heroes? How will Wonder Woman fit in? Who will win the fight? The teaser hints that perhaps the world's strongest man has gone off the deep end.

Although the movie is set to be released in theatres on 25 March 2016 in the United States, there is no news as to when it will reach Malaysian cinemas. So while you wait, take a look at the two new posters of our deeply troubled heroes.
