Anne Hathaway might replace Amy Schumer in live-action 'Barbie' film
Sony and Mattel are also eyeing Alethea Jones as the film's director
After Amy Schumer dropped out of becoming Barbie in the upcoming live-action film, it's been revealed that Anne Hathaway is in talks to fill in the role. Australian Fun Mum Dinner director Alethea Jones is also being considered to helm the comedy.
According to Variety, nothing has been confirmed yet and Anne's schedule is still being worked out. Reports claim that Sony is still determined to release the film on 29 June 2018 however, with both its main star and director unconfirmed, it seems the film will have to take a seat for a while.
