We came for Felicity Jones (who plays outlaw Jyn Erso) but stayed for Darth Vader (voiced by James Earl Jones) who was spotted in the last few seconds of the new two-minute Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer. This is the Sith lord's first appearance since 2005's Revenge of the Sith after all.

The Gareth Edwards-directed film takes place before 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope. Here in Rogue One, the plot focuses on the rebellion's efforts to steal the plans of the "major weapon" the Galactic Empire is hell-bent on building. As you might've already guessed, yes, they're building the Death Star.

We also get to see a bit more of Donnie Yen's kickass character, and Ben Mendelsohn's villainous Director Orson in the trailer. Now this is the Friyay we were hoping to have.

The movie can't come any faster! We'll let this .gif tell you exactly how we feel.
