Multi-instrumentalist and singer Ali Aiman has released the music video for the first single, Breathe, off his six-track Overture EP, and it is truly music to our ears.

Breathe is melancholic but serene, made even more beautifully so with fluid vocals, the piano riff and heartbeat-like accent. The black and white music video itself boasts a minimalism that mirrors Ali's near-placid expression as he convinces us to "open up your senses, and breathe."

"It's closer to being a visual interpretation rather than a parallel narrative," Ali said of the video, which was directed by photographer and filmmaker Mahen Bala.

All songs but one on the EP were written by Ali, who graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music with first class honours. Overture is now available for download on iTunes and Bandcamp, as well as streaming on Spotify, Deezer, and Tonton Music.
