Why it's special
Frequent patrons of Coquo KL will find that the modern dining restaurant has rebranded itself to Deuce KL. Don't despair, Deuce still maintains the previous eatery's warm, cosy interiors and fun wall graffiti as well as part of its menu.

What to drink
While you can go crazy on the super long wine list (they have an in-house cellar!), don't turn a blind eye on the cocktails. Personally, we're fans of the very refreshing and light Bungarosa (made with vodka, grapefruit and rose water) and the Smoking Baron (cognac, contreau, lemon) that arrives at your table literally smoking.

If you've got a sweet tooth, try the Russian Mermaid – made with vodka, cava, fresh pomegranate juice, lemon juice and egg white.

What to eat
Although Deuce does not have a food menu as extensive as its wine list; you'll still be pleasantly surprised by what it offers. The food is affordable and the portions are made to share. If you miss Coquo's tasty food, you're in for a treat as Deuce's menu still offers some of the best dishes from its predecessor.

Smoked cecina

For the peckish, try the deep fried kale that's sprinkled with acar vinaigrette and peppered with mixed nuts. For savoury lovers, we suggest the smoked cecina that's made with cured beef and served with thin layers of toasted bread or the buttery soft duck rilette that's 12 hour confit duck breast served with duck jus and charcoal grilled bread.

The intimate setting and an extensive wine list make this place the ideal spot for a dinner date or a fun catch-up with friends.
