The Sociology Of Miley Cyrus Is A Real College Course
Skidmore College to offer a summer sociology course on the controversial popstar
Now we can say we've seen it all. Miley Cyrus is officially a college course. Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York is offering a summer session in sociology to study the 21-year-old performer.
Think this is an early April Fools' joke? We assure you that it is not; the unit has been given a unit code and everything in Skidmore's summer course descriptions. The special topics course, called The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media will be taught by Carolyn Chertoff.
It may look like an easy A for avid Miley fans who twerk as well as she does, but we wouldn't put it past a sociology course to be challenging, especially when it comes to a subject as complicated as Miley. There really is no knowing what else the twerk queen will influence next.
Will there be an entire chapter on twerking? "Sorry, dudes, but this is sociology. Learn to twerk on your own time," Carolyn told Saratogian News.
