The Benedict Cumberbatch chocolate sculpture you need to see
The Chocobatch is delicious, both figuratively and literally
This gives The Imitation Game a whole new meaning. Eight people took 250 hours to create a life-size Benedict Cumberbatch sculpture out of 40 kilograms (about 500 bars) of Belgian chocolate for launch of the new Drama channel on UKTV Play.
Two thousand people were asked to vote for Britain's dishiest dramatic actors and Benedict came out on top, beating fellow TV drama actors David Tennant, Sean Bean and Damian Lewis to the chocolaty tribute.
"The striking thing about Benedict is he's got quite a thin face, but quite a large head, so trying to get that look right is quite tricky," chocolate sculptor Tim Simpson told The Telegraph.
The hollow sculpture will be on public display tomorrow, Friday 3 April at London shopping centre Westfield Stratford City. We suspect there'll be tight security involved if they're to prevent anyone taking an authorised nibble out of Chocobatch.
"I've got a feeling that some women are going to take a look at him and decide that he's delicious in more than one way," Tim added.
We so agree. The question remains, who will get the honour of taking the first bite (if anyone)?
