[Updated 1 January 2016] In the first music video we watched in 2016, Taylor Swift managed to escape a pack of wolves, survive a harsh winter (Jon Snow needs to have a conversation with her), jump off a cliff into an ocean and... survive. The premise of the video is that "she lost him, but found herself, and somehow that was everything." You'd have to watch the whole thing yourself to really get it; a dose of philosophy from Taylor to kick-start our year.

The sneak peek for Taylor Swift's upcoming Out of the Woods music video is the grittiest we've ever seen the singer. While mega hit Bad Blood had her fall almost immaculately onto a car, smashing the car without leaving a scratch on her, we suspect that the new video might live up to her lyrics: "twenty stitches in a hospital room."

She revealed that Out of the Woods will debut on Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Rockin' Eve special on ABC.

No red lipstick, hair and face full of mud, OMG seriously, who is she?
