Taylor Swift could be in Law & Order: SVU
Who wouldn't have seen this coming?
Taylor Swift is such a big fan of Mariska Hargitay's character Olivia Benson in Law & Order: SVU that she named her second cat after her – the first is named after Ellen Pompeo's Dr. Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy. Taylor even had Mariska appear on her Bad Blood music video, so it comes as no surprise that Taylor is being considered for a guest role on Law & Order: SVU.
"We just talked about it," Mariska told Entertainment Tonight. "We're going to wait until the end of the [1989 World] tour to see how it goes. But it's in the air."
Even executive producer Warren Leight gets the gravity of having the singer make her mark on the series.
"We're thinking of naming a squad room cat Taylor," he said, so even if actual Taylor doesn't appear in the series, the cat can serve as tribute to the longtime SVU fan.
Call us fussy, but it had better be a Scottish Fold. As for Taylor's possible role in an episode, be it big or small, protagonist or heroine, anything is better than the ditsy Felicia Miller from Valentine's Day.
Next up, Grey's Anatomy, perhaps?
