Taylor Swift's Twitter and Instagram hacked
Meanwhile, Calvin Harris signs a 3-year Las Vegas residency, Chris Pratt could be Indiana Jones and Fifty Shades releases new track by Sia
Taylor Swift's social media accounts were hacked
Taylor Swift's Twitter account has the fourth most number of followers (after Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Barack Obama), so it was a big deal when the singer's account got hacked.
"My Twitter got hacked but don't worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords. Never a dull moment," she wrote on Tumblr. A while later, her Instagram account was compromised too ("This is going to be a long day," read another of her posts), but all hacker images and posts have been removed.
Taylor wasted no time shaking off the hacks with celebratory tweets.
Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack...— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) January 27, 2015
PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) January 27, 2015
Calvin Harris signs a 3-year Las Vegas residency contract
The Scottish DJ and Emporio Armani leading man has entered into a partnership with Hakkasan Group to extend his music residency at Las Vegas. Billboard reports that Calvin will perform at Hakkasan Nightclub, MGM Grand Hotel's Wet Republic and soon-to-be-opened Omnia Nightclub at Caesar Palace under the contract for the next three years.
"Its venues are some of the best in the world for dance music and the opportunity to be part of the wider group as it develops into other markets and sectors is a really exciting prospect for me as an artist," said Calvin, who is now also a music consultant for Hakkasan. "We have some great ideas up our sleeves."
Chris Pratt eyed for Indiana Jones revival
Disney, which now owns the Indiana Jones franchise after acquiring Lucasfilm, is planning a reboot of the Harrison Ford-starring films. According to Deadline, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is being eyed for the titular character during what is now still a very early development stage.
This is definitely a rumour we're onboard with. Chris has already got the outdoorsy, ranger vibe about him; so think of his Jurassic World look, but add the leather jacket and hat and you've got yourself a potential if not already very convincing Indiana. We hope whips get cracking to speed things up so that before you know it, Chris will be jumping off waterfalls and tackling ancient booby traps onscreen.
Fifty Shades of Grey releases another track
Seriously, the film hasn't even been released and it's already got more tracks than plot points. Salted Wound is the latest sultry track by Sia to join Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do and The Weeknd's Earned It. Contrary to Sia's typically bass-heavy songs, Salted Wound sounds like it would suit a melancholic part of the film, like whenever Christian Grey broods or um, stalks Ana. We're still saving Beyoncé's racy Crazy In Love remix for the steamier scenes. But that's just our guess; the real deal hits cinemas this Valentine's Day.
