The 'Life' actor explains why he kissed Andrew Garfield at the Golden Globe Awards
To promote their latest film, Life actors Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal sat down to answer some of the internet's most searched questions about them. The best question concerned Ryan and Andrew Garfield's famous kiss at the 74th Golden Globe Awards in January. Why did he do it?
"Really, is that really a question?" Jake said while Ryan chimed in with, "Have you seen [Andrew]? I didn't even know I was kissing him until I found out when I got home that night. There should be a map just to get out of his eyes."
We know the feeling.
Both actors are notorious for their tongue-in-cheek humour, so you can expect hilarious comebacks as they answer questions about whether Ryan has a twin brother (answer: no, he ate him in the womb) and whether Jake went to college.
The clip also reveals why Ryan decided to play Deadpool. "I was jobless," he said. "It was desperation, definitely and [there were] elements of middle-aged panic."
The bromance is real; so real, they got into trouble for it on set.
"We couldn't stop laughing and joking," Jake told Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. "We wasted so much money!"
