Rihanna the next Bond Girl and FKA Twigs harassed by racist RPatz fans
Plus, Naomi Campbell landed a role in a new drama series while Mary-Louis Parker is dedicating her memoir to her exes
Will Rihanna be the next Bond girl?
Is there anything Rihanna cannot have? Besides scoring the most stylish clothes and having a bangin' body, the 26-year-old Barbadian singer will likely be appearing in Bond 24 starring Daniel Craig. According to OK!, Rihanna was approached by the movie's producers and filming will start soon for a November 2015 release.
Wonder what role will RiRi be playing in the film? With all her 'I-don't-give-a-F' attitude and kick ass outfits, we'd hope she'll play a villain with super cool gadgets to feed her good girl gone bad vibe.
Naomi Campbell to star in Fox's new drama
From supermodel, to mentor and now actress. Gorgeous model Naomi Campbell has appeared in a number of films before but her roles were always short and sweet. This time, the model is expanding her career to become a serious actress for Fox's new hip-hop drama titled Empire starring Terence Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Gabourey Sidibe.
The drama centers around a hip hop enterprise run by Lucious Lyon played by Terrence. According to Entertainment Weekly, Naomi will play Camilla, “an alluring woman involved in a steamy affair with the much younger potential heir to his father’s throne, Hakeem (Bryshere Gray), over whom she exercises considerable influence.”
Oh, we can totally imagine Naomi playing Camilla now.
Mary-Louis Parker is dedicating her memoir to her exes
Besides playing a weed dealer in Jenji Kohan's hit series, Weeds, Mary-Louis Parker is now a writer. The 50-year-old actress will pen her memoir in the form of letters and dedicate it to the men of her life. Mary-Louis once dated actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Billy Crudup and Counting Crows' Adam Duritz, so maybe they'll appear in her letter concept memoir and her fans can play the guessing game on which letter to whom.
Titled Dear Mr. You, the book will be released this Fall.
FKA Twigs harassed on social media by racist Robert Pattinson fans
There are times in social media where all we can do is face-palm ourselves on the offensive things netizens have said, and this is one of them. Ever since news broke out that singer FKA Twigs is dating Twilight actor Robert Pattinson, the Two Weeks singer has been besieged by racist comments and Kirsten Stewart comparisons on her Twitter and Instagram. And some of the words they used are ruthless, petty and tasteless. Do they talk to their mothers with that mouth?
FKA Twigs aka Tahliah Debrett Barnett who is part Jamaican, part English and part Spanish tweeted her disgust to haters:
I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week.— FKA twigs (@FKAtwigs) September 28, 2014
Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online.— FKA twigs (@FKAtwigs) September 28, 2014
You go, Tahliah! Do what you do and date Robert as your right because all that matters is that Robert and your fans love you for who you are.
