Rihanna found her Met Ball dress on the internet

And you won't believe how long it took to make

Rihanna upstaged absolutely everyone with her big, bright yellow cape at the Met Gala last night. And it was all thanks to Chinese couturier Guo Pei, who the FourFiveSeconds singer apparently discovered on the internet. "I was researching Chinese couture on the internet and I found it," she told Vanity Fair, adding that the handmade gown took two years to make.

The singer also admitted that while it wasn't the comfiest choice to wear to the gala (she couldn't walk in it without help), it was all worth it – not only was her look perfect for the China: Through the Looking Glass theme, it also made her the belle of the Met Ball.
