Rihanna found her BBHMM henchwoman on Instagram

Is Sanam the luckiest RiRi fan or what?

Rihanna was so taken by a fan's selfie that she decided to cast her as a henchwoman in Bitch Better Have My Money. Sanam, 25, who works at a plant store in Seattle, told Vice that Rihanna started following her on Instagram (gasp!), but it was a roller coaster ride of emotions before the singer revealed her intentions to her loyal fan.

"When I refreshed my notifications, she had unfollowed me, so I was sad about it," she said in an interview. "Then two weeks later, she followed me again. The next morning, I went to work, and I got a DM from her on Instagram. She was like, 'Hey, I have this idea I want to run by you. I think you're so f**king rare. Let me know if you're interested.' I had no idea what she was talking about. I was just freaking out, because Rihanna is messaging me on Instagram, telling me that she thinks I'm cool."

Despite not having any acting experience, she was contacted by the production company behind the music video and was flown to Los Angeles to film the next day. Meeting Rihanna was a dream come true, of course. Not even the flu could stop Sanam from having the best week of her life.

"She's so sweet," Sanam said of her new celebrity friend. "She was showering us with compliments. She is so f**king real and down-to-earth, which is the corniest thing to say about a famous person, but she really is."
