Rebecca Black has a new music video

'The Great Divide' is nothing like the heavily autotuned 'Friday'

Just when you finally got Friday out of your head, Rebecca Black is back. But the good news is that her new single, The Great Divide, could not be any less like the 2011 song that brought her worldwide, er, fame.

The Great Divide is a pop ballad that is intended to silence Rebecca's haters and prove she's here to stay. In the intro to the song, she says, "I just wanted to prove everyone wrong, but now that it's here I have that within myself and I don't need that anymore. I think what I'm also most excited about is there are some of you I've seen stick with me for four or five years now and you've always been so excited and so patient with me, so before the music video starts I wanted to say thank [you] to you guys."

We're glad Rebecca has found strength through her music. If anything, she deserves a round of applause for enduring the hate and jokes through the years and coming out of her Friday days a better singer. Think we're joking? Listen to her sing live for ELLE.com.
