Prince Harry confirms Meghan Markle is his girlfriend
And releases an extraordinary statement attacking the British press
[Updated 8 November 2016] It's official: Prince Harry is dating Suits star Meghan Markle. In a jaw-dropping move, Kensington Palace released a very open and forthright statement in which Prince Harry confirmed the relationship and attacked the press for a number of defamatory stories about Meghan that have surfaced in recent days.

You might know Meghan from legal drama series Suits, in which she plays Rachel Zane. It is believed that Harry met her in Toronto in May, where he was promoting the 2017 Invictus Games. Meghan is often in the Canadian city for work, as Toronto is Suits' main filming location.
A source told The Sunday Express that Harry is "happier than he's been for many years."
"He's in a very relaxed period of his life and Meghan has come along at the right time," the source said. "They are taking each week as it comes and just enjoying each other's company but it's fair to say that they love seeing each other and there's a definite chemistry between them."
"Harry has been desperate to keep the relationship quiet because he doesn't want to scare Meghan off," the source continued. "He knows things will change when their romance is public knowledge but he also knows he can't keep it a secret for long. It's too early to say if the relationship will lead to anything long-term but who knows?"
There's another telltale sign – which could be nothing, really, but one can hope – that suggest that Harry and Meghan have become friends, even if they're not dating. You know how Harry is a big fan of friendship bracelets? He has this blue beaded bracelet he nearly never takes off (pictured above); Meghan was spotted wearing an identical one in a photo from her recent trip to UK's Soho Farmhouse.
We'll let you do the math.
