Nur Fazura misunderstood what a fan meant by KimK

A wee misunderstanding on social media caused the actress to flare up

Malaysian actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin hit back at a fan who commented on a photo of her on Instagram, but as it turns out, it's all a misunderstanding.

When the former ELLE cover girl posted up a photo of her and a friend, a fan commented that the person in front looks like KimK (the original comment read "Mcm kimK yg dpn tu"). The Gol & Gincu actress then took a screengrab of the comment and posted it up, commenting that being a Muslim mother who wears a hijab does not prove your holiness. "By you entering my personal space and calling my friend such names in public only shows who you truly are," wrote Fazura.

Fazura received plenty of backlash on social media for the comment. A user cleared the air and pointed out on Twitter that Fazura thought the fan had called her 'k*mak', which is a nasty swear word in Malay, when the fan actually meant Kim Kardashian (a compliment, we think?).

In response to it all, Fazura posted a photo of her loved ones and said that people should be wary of using harsh words to critique others on social media, and that slang words or phrases with double meanings are a no-no.

Salam. Why do we always have to make others think or live like us? Why are we so worried? Mengundang rasa kurang senang banyak pihak? Hanya ALLAH saja yg tahu. This goes to me and everyone. May we learn from our mistakes and please, if kita tak mahu cakap nice things.. Just don't comment anything at all. Itu lebih baik. Sending love always ❤️
