Michelle Obama, Serena Williams and more dress as Beyoncé for her birthday
The world has been blessed with 18 more Beyoncés and it's amazing
When Queen Beyoncé celebrates her birthday, you know it's going to be a huge affair. This year, to celebrate her 36th birthday, 18 women (comprising friends and family) dressed up as she did in the unforgettable Formation music video. Leading the list of celebs is gal pal Michelle Obama who really got the look down to a T.
Other close friends like Serena Williams and Kelly Rowland as well as daughter Blue Ivy, mum Tina Lawson and mother-in-law Gloria Carter also joined in. Click here to see all the photos.
Speaking of Tina, she wrote a touching post in honour of her daughter: "36 years ago God chose me out of all the women in the world to be your mother!" Tina said. "How blessed could I be? Not because you are a super talented, smart businesswoman and one of the biggest superstars! It's because you are the kindest most generous, thoughtful, intuitive, loyal, humble, funny, grounded, grateful and loving human being. I am proud to be your mum. Happy birthday baby! I love you with my whole heart."
Bey's husband Jay-Z also made the occasion extra special by getting the crowd at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia to sing 'Happy Birthday' to her while she looked on from the side. "Shout out to Beyoncé. Beautiful Bey is in the house tonight. Happy birthday, my love," he said.
