Move over, B. Madonna a.k.a the OG Queen (the Queen of Pop, that is) has her own twins – she's adopted two 4-year-old girls from Malawi. This is Madge's third time adopting from the African country; she previously adopted David Banda and Mercy James from there in 2006 and 2007 respectively. She also is a mother to Lourdes Leon, 20 and Rocco Ritchie, 16.

Malawi's judiciary spokesperson Mlenga Mvula confirmed the adoption to People and added that the twins' mother died a week after delivering the girls in August 2012. They were since looked after by their grandmother and then taken into an orphanage, Mvula explained.

Madonna's love for Malawi is evident. Besides it being the birth place of two of her older adopted children, she also founded the Raising Malawi organisation over a decade ago, which fights poverty and provides resources for orphaned and impoverished children. This year, the foundation will build Malawi's first pediatric surgery and intensive care unit, the Mercy James Institute for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care.

Congrats, Madonna!
