Listen to Tom Hiddleston sing in a Southern drawl
If you weren't a fan of his before, you will be now
British actor and a great Robert De Niro impersonator, Tom Hiddleston can now add 'country singer' to his impressive resume. He stars as iconic country singer Hank Williams in an upcoming film called I Saw the Light with Elizabeth Olsen as Hank's wife, Audrey Mae Williams.
To celebrate the film's premiere at Nashville on Saturday, Tom took to the stage and performed a few songs in a Southern accent. While Elizabeth and film director Marc Abraham danced along in the crowd, we think Tom nailed it as a country crooner.
"I've realised I'm incapable of doing any of this in a British accent," Tom told the crowd. "You know the British are famously repressed."
If his singing and his accent aren't enough to convince you to watch the film, maybe this will.
