Lisa Surihani is pregnant
Plus, Jimmy Fallon has a drunken 'Grease' sing-along, Jennifer Lawrence declares herself a Kardashian fan and Taylor Swift goes on a trademark rampage
"Yes, Lisa is pregnant," Yusry, a singer and filmmaker, said at the Cicakman 3 trailer premiere at Pavilion on Wednesday. "Speculation stating that we are quiet as we are bound by a contract with a television station is not true." Lisa noted that she'll proceed with an official statement once her pregnancy has stabilised. "According to the older generations it is still early to publicise the news," she added.
Jimmy Fallon has a drunken Grease sing-along
If you've ever felt the need to belt out Summer Nights in a bar late one night, you will understand why Jimmy Fallon gets so overcome in this new video. The Tonight Show host led a crowd sing-along at a New York City piano bar to the Grease classic. He should be an expert in that song, having performed it with Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live, and he showed the same enthusiasm here too. Too bad the video cuts off right as he begins his solo. How about an encore with Tina on The Tonight Show, Jimmy?
Jennifer Lawrence is a huge Kardashian fan
Jennifer Lawrence may be a successful Oscar-winning actress, but she's not exempt to being a screaming fan girl either. Kim Kardashian experienced this firsthand.
"I was in NYC and I ran into Jennifer Lawrence," Kim told The Sun (via The Independent). "We said, 'Hi' and walked into the elevator and as the doors were closing. She screamed across the lobby, 'I love your show!' We were laughing so hard."
JLaw expressed her love for reality TV in an interview with Marie Claire South Africa in 2012, mentioning Keeping Up With the Kardashians as one of her obsessions. Who says you can't be a celebrity fan if you're a celeb yourself?
Taylor Swift goes on a trademark rampage
Known for her catchy lyrics, Taylor Swift has made phrases like "This Sick Beat" famous, oversung and oversaid. She took an extra step to make her special phrases extra special by legally stamping them as her own. On top of her existing Taylor Swift and T.S. trademarks, it has been revealed that she applied to trademark "Party Like It's 1989", "This Sick Beat", "Cause We Never Go Out Of Style", "Can Show You Incredible Things" and "Nice to meet you. Where you been?" even before her latest album 1989 was released.
Sorry, people (1989 babies included). No using Taylor's brilliant ideas for your own financial gain. You know Taylor's beef with piracy and music streaming, so you don't want to mess with her.
