Lisa Surihani Nominated for Kids' Choice Award
The Malaysian actress is one of Nickelodeon's top 4 Favourite Asian Acts
Lisa Surihani is making a name for herself at an international level, having scored a nomination as Favourite Asian Act at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. Also a model and a TV host, the law graduate made her theatrical debut in 2012 play Teater Tun Siti Hasmah as the title role and has gained plenty of experience in the local film industry.
Lisa, who won the Best Actress Award at the 23rd Malaysian Film Festival is up against singer G.E.M. from Hong Kong, Indonesian pop boy band Coboy Junior, and Filipino-Australian singer Anne Curtis for the iconic Nickelodeon rocket, which is awarded based on popular vote by children and teenagers all over the world.
The Kids' Choice Awards will also see the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock, and Hugh Jackman as part of a stellar list of nominees for over 20 categories.
