Did Lindsay Lohan convert to Islam?
The actress deletes all her photos on Instagram and writes "Alaikum salam" in her bio, sparking rumours that she has converted
Lindsay Lohan has emptied out her Instagram account, leaving only the words 'Alaikum salam' (Arabic for "peace be with you too") and a few contacts in her bio, sparking speculation that she has converted to Islam.
The actress has yet to make any public statements herself, but her Muslim fans are already welcoming her with open arms.

The actress was previously rumoured to have joined the Muslim faith back in 2015 when she was photographed carrying the Quran while doing community service in Brooklyn. She later on explained that the holy book was actually a gift from her friends.
"My very close friends, who have been there for me a lot, in London are Saudi and they gave me the Quran and I brought it to New York because I was learning," she said on Turkish talk show Haber Turk at the time. "It opened doors for me to experience spiritually, to find another true meaning. This is who I am."
Unfortunately, she did not receive complete support for her new beliefs. "They crucified me for it in America. They made me seem like Satan," Lindsay added. "I was a bad person for holding that Quran. I was so happy to leave [America] and go back to London after that, because I felt so unsafe in my own country. If this [Islam] is something that I want to learn, this is my own will."
