We're thinking the congratulatory call was something like "Hello, hello baby…"

Big news for Little Monsters everywhere, it's been reported that Lady Gaga will be replacing Beyoncé as this year's Coachella headliner. Last week, reps from the music festival announced that Queen B had to pull out of her highly-anticipated gig due to the fact that she'd be very heavily pregnant at the time of the performance.

Of course, the Beyhive reacted accordingly and while Beyoncé's leaving pretty big shoes to fill, we think Gaga's a great pick. After all, Mama Monster slayed at the recent Super Bowl half-time show and she's definitely on the same wavelength as Bey – the two artists worked together on their 2009 hit, Telephone.

Sources say that officials are still finalising plans to bring Gaga's showstopping stage production to Coachella, so we can expect an official announcement soon.
