Kim Kardashian gets in trouble with the FDA

For posting a misleading selfie, of course

Kim Kardashian received a warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last Friday for posting a (now deleted) selfie that promoted a drug called Diclegis made by Duchesnay USA, which she credited for helping with her morning sickness. According to the letter, Kim failed to mention any risks related to the drug.

Although Kim told her followers to check with their doctors before taking Diclegis, it simply wasn't enough for FDA as the drug has been known cause severe drowsiness, not to mention the fact that it could be harmful for the baby. But it's not really Kim's fault as she was only a paid spokeswoman for the company.

The Washington Post reports that Duchesnay is now working directly with the FDA to make promotional materials that are not so misleading. We hope everything will settle down soon.
