Kendall Jenner was never bullied at runway shows
Also, find out how the Jenners celebrated Thanksgiving, what Kanye may be leaving music for, and what Kendall has to say about those bullying rumours
Kendall Jenner dismisses rumours she was bullied backstage
Fashion's rising star Kendall has plenty ahead of her and it's a relief that she hasn't made any enemies in the industry to get to where she is. The 19-year-old quashed rumours she was bullied by other models backstage at runway shows during fashion week.
"I would see rumours of girls bullying me backstage and putting cigarettes out in my drink, and none of that has happened. Everyone's been really cool to me. I've never had one girl be mean... so far," she said in an interview with Dazed magazine.
Kendall, who appears on Dazed's Winter 2015 cover said that not only has she had a good experience at runway shows, but her family have always been incredibly supportive.
"Every show, no matter how many shows I've done, I get a text message from every single one of them. But I love it. I couldn't ask for a better reaction. The other day Kanye hugged me and was like, 'Yo, I'm really proud of you.' And I was like, 'Really?!' It's so sweet to hear that."
The Jenner Thanksgiving
Los Angeles Mission received a helping hand from Kylie Jenner when the young reality TV star and her rumoured boyfriend, 25-year-old rapper Tyga spent Thanksgiving eve at the homeless shelter, serving food to the hungry.
Sorry, there aren't any selfies of the 'couple' dishing veg or mash together. Tyga, who has been spotted hanging out with Kylie often, posted a photo of himself (below) at LA Mission, but cropped out Kylie and actor George Lopez. We suppose that's one way to keep the rumours from swirling.
Meanwhile, Kylie and Kendall's mum Kris posted a Thanksgiving family photo on Instagram, which included her ex, Bruce Jenner. We're guessing it's most probably a throwback photo because Kanye and North West were missing (plus, Kylie and Kendall look loads younger). Also present was Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Rob, Khloe, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as Kourtney's partner Scott Disick. We can't wait for an updated Jenner-Kardashian-West family photo.
Cate Blanchett praises Emma Watson
While looking effortless (as usual) in the latest issue of Porter magazine, Oscar winner Cate Blanchett also slipped in some thoughts (and cussed!) on Emma Watson's renowned HeForShe speech at the United Nations.
"I was so f**king proud of Emma Watson's speech at the UN. It was brilliant, such an incredible use of her airspace, and really passionate. It was fantastic," she said. Cursing aside, here's the Australian beauty looking gorgeous in her windswept shoot. Cate the great, indeed.
Is Kanye West putting aside music for fashion?
What's next for Kanye after he's done recording music for that unexpected album collab with Paul McCartney? According to a source who spoke to Page Six, the rapper and songwriter may retire from the music scene to free up time for fashion.
"He got a $15 million signing bonus from Adidas, but his line has been pushed back four times because he hasn't had enough time to work on it," the source added.
Without a music career, Kanye can concentrate more on, say, getting his own fashion line running or collaborating with other brands and making lots and lots of money on the way. Let's not forget about family duties, of course.
