The Magistrate's Court has given local actor Keith Foo a RM100 fine for showing contempt to a traffic policeman. Keith admitted to the offence in court, and his fiancée Kim Raymond paid the fine. If the fine wasn't paid Keith would have faced 10 days in jail.

Free Malaysia Today reports that the Negeri Sembilan native had been in a car that Kim was driving in Kampung Pandan at 4.30am on 15 March when a traffic policeman stopped them. Kim failed a breathalyser test, spurring Keith to yell at the policeman.

The Ariana Rose actor allegedly said: "Kau siapa, kau ingat kau polis besar sangatkah, bodoh." (Who are you, do you think because you're a policeman you're so tough, stupid?)

"Being well known among the local public, he should be an exemplary figure," deputy public prosecutor Noor Svetlana Mohd Noor Nordin said. She requested that the court give the 32-year-old a proper sentence for his actions.

Maybe next time Keith should follow the Mario Puzo advice he captioned a selfie with in March: "Never show anger at slight, Tell nothing. Earn respect from everyone by deeds, not words...".
