If you’re planning a trip to the US National Portrait Gallery in Washington, you may catch a glimpse of Katy Perry in the canvas. A 2010 portrait of Katy by artist Will Cotton will go on display in the gallery starting June 18. The portrait is called ‘Cupcake Katy’, and portrays the singer as... a cupcake.

Katy previously worked with the artist on the design of her California Gurls music video – you may recognise a few thematic similarities. Katy’s portrait will be joining those of Beyonce, Madonna and Michael Jackson in the gallery.
