It looks like there really is some 'bad blood' after all as Katy Perry steps into the Twitter feud that sprung up between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift yesterday.

Our former ELLE cover girl chose not to mention anyone in particular, but we thought it was quite obvious as to whom she was directing the message to.

"Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalises on the take down of a woman...," she tweeted.

The tweet sounds like a response to Taylor's message to Nicki yesterday. While fans swarm around these pop stars to take sides, we can't help but ask: what is Katy trying to say? Is she implying that Taylor has been using her 'good girl' image to earn her fame (and fortune)? We'll have to wait to see what happens next.

And let's just say that Nicki's response to Taylor's invite to come onstage contained a whole lot of shade. She re-tweeted the post below:
