Kate Winslet Receives Iconic Titanic Nude Drawing
Draw me like one of your French girls... Again
Kate Winslet received a blast from the past from an eager fan during the Divergent film premiere in Los Angeles. Even though everyone was celebrating the Neil Burger film based on the novel by Veronica Roth, this said fan... um... diverged and handed Kate his recreation of her iconic nude drawing from 1997 James Cameron romantic disaster film, Titanic, ELLE US reported.
Looking absolutely graceful in a scarlet Safiyaa gown, the Oscar-winning actress had been signing autographs for fans when she was presented with the drawing for her to sign. It is unclear whether the drawing was replicated by the fan or if it was a print. Either way, it must make one very unique autographed memorabilia.
Kate, who has just received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame gained international superstardom thanks to her role in Titanic as aristocrat Rose DeWitt Bukater. Rose is the love interest of Jack Dawson, who was played by Leonardo DiCaprio.
In the film, Rose strips to her birthday suit, save a single accessory – the legendary Heart of the Ocean necklace – around her neck, and asks Jack to "draw me like one of your French girls". Excuse us, we're blushing.
