Kate Middleton plays cricket in India
In a maxi dress and wedges... and nails the ball!
Kate Middleton and Prince William's seven-day jaunt to India and Bhutan is off to a smashing start with a round of sports. Decked out in a breezy midi-length dress by Indian designer Anita Dongre and a pair of wedges, Kate picked up a paddle at the Mumbai Oval Maiden for a children's cricket match.
The Duchess appeared to be a natural at cricket, looking the picture of concentration as cricket legend Dilip Vengsarkar stood behind her and looked on in awe at her batting skills. She displayed mad cricket chops and loads of enthusiasm, making it look like a piece of cake.
Later the two visited the Banganga community where Kate deftly tackled a football. The wedges were genius - no doubt a smarter choice than heels when traipsing around grass fields and dirt.
